Classes
Nearly all the regular Iyengar Yoga classes in Essex have resumed and some online classes are continuing. To check the details of a class go the IYCE website, click on the name of the teacher whose class you are interested in and then click on their class list.
Subscriptions 2022-2023
The Trustees of IYCE extended subscription to 31 March 2022 free if charge because of the Covid-19 virus. We are pleased to announce that we will do the same for the current subscription year from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023. This means that all exisiting subscribers will automatically have their subscriptions renewed to March 2023.
Workshop with Sarah Toward
Sarah is teaching a general level worshop on Saturday 2 April 2022 at Great Dunmow Primary School, Great Dunmow CM6 1ZR. Contact Sarah on 07427 596961 for details and to book a place.
Workshop with Michelle Galliano and Denise Mehlman
Michelle and Denise will teach a general level workshop at Highwood Village Hall on Saturday 14 May 2022. The class will start at 09:30 and finish at 12:00. For details see the booking form.
Yoga Day with Julie Brown Saturday 9 July 2022
Julie Brown, a Level 4 teacher from Manchester, will teach a yoga day at Highwood Village Hall on Saturday 9 July 2022. You may recall that of the planned events for IYCE's Silver Jubilee year Julie's weekend was the only face-to-face event that took place because of Covid-19. We look forward to welcoming Julie back to Essex and working with her again in this the Manchester and District Iyengar Yoga's Golden Jubilee Year.
Yoga Weekend with Jayne Orton Saturday and Sunday 29/30 October 2022
Jayne Orton, a Level 4 teacher from Birmingham, will teach a weekend of Iyengar Yoga at Highwood Village Hall on Saturday and Sunday 29 and 30 October 2022.
As many of you know Jayne has worked with us many times in the past. We last saw her on zoom in October 2021. We look forward to welcoming Jayne back to Essex.
Sunday Pranayama Class with Susan
Susan's monthly pranayama class is on the first Sunday of each month. The next batch of classes start on 3 April (plus 1 May and 5 June). You may book for individual classes or the block. Contact Susan by email [email protected] or send a message to mobil phone 07460 101 510.
Friday Workshops with Claire Hanrahan
Claire's popular monthly Friday evening workshops have moved to Highwood Village Hall. They are on the second Friday of each month from 18:45 to 20:45. To take part students should have practised Iyengar Yoga for at least a year.

IYCE continues to make equipment available to Iyengar Yoga practitioners in Essex. Please ask your class teacher for details or email Michelle Galliano [email protected] You will save on postage and get a reduced price on most items. Equipment can also be preordered and delivered to you at an IYCE Iyengar Yoga event.
